I see we have a popular .45 thread going ...looks light alot of us like our .45s.I was just curious who use a 10MM on a daily basis

I traded in my G30 SF for a G29 SF ..so far so good..ammo is a bear to find but thats what doubletap.com is for :)

Anyone think 10 MM is to over the top for cc duty ?

10mm is a very fine round. I hesitate as I had a bad experience with it and Colt delta cup.
400 corbon is very cool but just a experimenters play round.
45 is universal but I love my 40. Next for me will be a 357sig.

EDC and BUG, today. Razorback with his kid brother. The Razorback's twin is home sleeping. I'm a fan of Dan Wesson.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office used to issue the G20, but their qualification scores were in the dumper. Supposedly the scores have improved quite a bit since they switched to the G21 in .45 ACP. The 10mm is definitely an enthusiast's round.

So with the bigger bullet those near misses are now scraping the edges of the target? :rolf

Back in the day, I played around with a Colt Delta Elite for awhile. Not a bad combo, but it really didn't do anything for me that my S&W .41 magnum didn't and the S&W was more versatile and comfortable to shoot. Interesting cartridge, though.

I have my share of Glocks, I got a 29 myself about 2 months ago. It is the same size as my 30 and all my rigs and gear fit the Glock 29. I love it , but I find myself still carrying the 30. I will carry the 29 for a couple weeks since I read your thread, I just have to get used to it like any other gun. I love to shoot it at the range but right now all ammo is hard to get so I have only put 50rds thru it.....Later,G30

I wouldn't hesitate to carry a 10mm, but the one thing that is stopping me from doing just that is I don't own one yet! Planning on building my own 10mm 1911 this time around.
