How do I get rid of the AIG ad above?

The AIG Tactical lad above is covering my sub-links to the right of the Florida Concealed Carry Forums link ... is there a way to remove it so I can use those links?

What web browser and version of it are you using. This info might help me to program the page to show on your computer better.
Easy solution

Duck tape.

It works for the check engine light on the dashboard also.

Just made a few changes and it shows good on Firefox 3.0.8. If it does not show good for you then try upgrading your browser to the latest version of Firefox if you can.

:rolf I love the Red Green Show

I get the same thing in IE, and I think my monitor settings would be correct since this is the only forum out of half a dozen or so others that I am on that does this.
Is that the only banner you see? You don't see the rest of the banners like in capn's screenshot?

I would check to see if you are using any sort of ad blocker... it's possible that if it's sneaking through, it's messing with your display...

If you do have an ad blocker (which I suspect you do), try turning it off... You should see all the ads and they should look correct. Then, if you wanna turn it back on, you'll have to see if you can configure it to block that ad as well.
Yeah, this is the only ad I see. Looking at my Options, I have a Pop-up Blocker but no Ad Blocker.
did y'all resolve the issue?

that is odd. you have the latest/almost latest IE?

I would guess bad DIV layer syntax. but only if it was happening to everyone, or atleast a particular browser.

only one occurrence indicates user settings..

that's weird.
Yeah, its probably on my end, I just don't know what. IE is probably an old version, I haven't used it in 4-5 years, but Firefox is the newest so it shouldn't be that.
