As an administrator at Florida Concealed Carry .com I thought long and hard about what the rules were going to be for this forum. I realized that most people never take the time to read through the rules of anything and that they just wanted to start their postings as soon as possible, so I have come up with the shortest possible list of rules that we all can abide by very easily. Here goes.

1) No Profanity of any Kind

2) No derogatory or racial slurs

3) Heated discussions are welcome but please keep it civil

4) Keep posts related to the particular thread or topics at hand

5) No discussion of illegal activity

6) The information found on this forum should not be used as legal advise

There are many more thing that we could put in our rules list, however, to keep it simple Florida concealed Carry .com reserves the right to delete any post, move any post or ban any member at our discretion.

Sir...is there a rule covering having a picture along with my profile. I have downloaded 2 different photos and they both have popped up on the edit photo section...but when I make a post it does not come up with my name. Is there a minimum number of posts that I must exceed before it shows or am I just a dumb a## that cannot figure out simple computer stuff. I am asking for your help sir. Thank you.

Hey sgtlogan, there is no minimum posts that you must make in order to post pics. It looks like you wanted to make the pic you uploaded your avatar but instead you made it you profile pic. I've corrected it for you. If there is anything else you need help with please let me know. Thanks.

sometimes we get carried away but the thread should remain on topic and should not have "thread crapping" as you put it.

There is thread drift here on the forum but so far the members are doing a good job of staying on topic. We will definitely step in and stop a thread or deal with an individual member if drift is taken too far. We want to give the members as freedom as possible but will step in if this this freedom is taken too far.

If a post gets delete do you give an explaination (making it a teaching moment) or is it just gone.

Most times there is a PM to the affected member and the rest of the time it is plainly obvious why the member got edited or deleted so no PM is sent.

New policy resulting from people being unable to discuss the issue without getting into verbal wars. And the new policy doesn't say "no discussion of LEO activities". It says to not post inflammatory videos of LEO misconduct, and to refrain from discussing them.
