Hey All!

i have been reading alot from this forum and decided to join. I am waiting on my license since Nov 30 and they cashed my check 1/8/09. I bought my first gun Nov 30 at a gun show. A shiny new Walther PPS 9mm. So far i love it! I now know all the laws backwards and forwards and already put hundreds of rounds through my gun. Can't wait to join the Sheep Dogs!:dancingbanana

Welcome to the Forum! Glad to see another face in Orlando. There are LOTS of us here.

I hope Tallahassee clears out the backlog of CWL applications. It looks like (judging from a few posts by members) they are presently mailing out licenses from applications mailed in mid-October. It looks like about an 85 day wait from time of mailing, if there are no glitches.

I hope your license arrives soon. Many of us here can relate to wearing trenches in the yard checking the mailbox. (I plan to re-sod in another week to fix the problem. Provided my license arrives by then.)

Glad you joined the site. We have a nice growing group here in Orlando. Based on the weekly joiners on this site it appears that a consistent group of Florida is growing concealed as well. And that is the ones we know about that join this group.

I was at WalMart the other day trying to buy ammo and the shelves were just about picked clean. Hmmm. Is something going on that I don't know about?

Oley, welcome! I'm in the Kissimmee area myself, and we've got a good Orlando group going here.

Mamabear, yeah, I noticed that too. I went to my local Walmart just three weeks ago and it was slim pickings. I then went last night, and and they were almost gone.
