Hello Everyone,

I live in Melbourne and have been carrying for 14 years now. I strongly believe that mere possession of a gun doesn't make one an expert marksman or tactical genius so I regularly seek-out professional training to ensure that I am able to safely and effectively defend innocent life should the need arise. Most of my training has been in the use of handguns but I've also taken classes on defensive use of shotguns and semi-auto rifles.

Aside from training for myself I continue to encourage others to consider firearms and whether they might have applications for their personal defensive strategies.

I look forward to learning from and sharing experiences with those who post to this board.

Port Malabar Rifle and Pistol club, mostly. I sometimes visit the indoor ranges on Merritt Island and at the Police Hall of Fame in Titusville. PMRPC is great as it has "Action" bays where you can practice 180 degree shooting and can move towards and away from the targets. Let's me add some realism into my training routine.
