It seems that people who advocate liberty and minimal government are an Endangered Species. I've been interested in firearms for a long time but never got into them until now. Crime is getting out of control, and it's time to find ways to protect the family. So here I am, looking to learn from others.

Welcome from Ponte Vedra neighbor.
You and I are like wild animals in the woods; just because they are not seen doesn't mean they aren't there.
The goods news is there are a lot of people, like you and me, here at Florida Concealed Carry and in our great country who are waking and coming out of the woods.
You may be pleased to find out you are not "Endangered Species".
Welcome to the pride.

Well, it's all over but the shouting now. My permit should be in my mailbox within two weeks.

Thanks to everyone on this forum for the great info and advice. This experience is just beginning. It's going to be a bit scary at first, knowing what I'm capable of doing with it. Of course, for various reasons I've carried knives and screwdrivers and hammers that can be equally deadly.
Hello and welcome from the Florida Keys.
