r2dac...that is wonderful news for you!

During your application wait process, did you send an email to them? I know it sounds like a lame question; because how would they have your email to begin with? But I am curious when / why you sent it.

Be safe!

I was told you could email them instead of calling and sitting on hold forever.
Someone on another forum gave me the email address. I sent it about a month ago and totally forgot about it. Thats why I was soo suprised today when she replied.

Happy day for me!!!!

The one I sent went kind of like this

"Hello, My name is Yada Yada Yada,
I was wondering about my application status.
I know you guys are very busy, So I thank you for your time."

I saw on the DOA website where you can use the websites to create and send an email. Did you use that to email them or did you actually have an email address that you could send an email (for example [email protected] ?

Congrats, me too.

r2dac. Congrats on the good news.

I spoke with Amanda on Tuesday and found out mine was issued that same day (4/28). My original application was rejected because of issues with the photo (too ugly?). I spoke with Donna (works for Amanda) and she told me to save time and send an e-mail with a subject of "EO Response" and attach a good digital photo to it. IT WORKED.

I have nothing but good things to say about the people working in the Div. of Licensing. I can only imagine the pile of applications they are under. They have been great to deal with. Hopefully we won't have to wait the full 20 days. :)
