It works for a fatty
I think high ride is nice for open carry, but not so musch when I want to conceal or wear shorts low in the summer. IMO my handle needs to be short, tight against my body, and low or even with the belt line (slightly inside would be nice too). Otherwise, with a higher ride a summer Tshirt would drape over the handle(tang) and show a nasty print.
Pics are with level walking carry and sitting forward cant. There is some pivot movement due to the way the skyops attaches. The bottom screw has a secondary pin and hole to keep it from swinging, but if someone wanted to have extreme cant they can grind it off.
Only one issue: The manufacturing plastic stamp code on the back of the clip scratches the leather. These should have been smoothed off, but easy to fix.
It's comfortable to wear all day and to shift if one position becomes annoying. With a draped Tshirt you would never know there's 11 rounds of .45
Perhaps it could've had a sweat guard for more comfort but it's fine as I don't have a sharp edged slide or hammer.
Shown with XD 45 Compact 10 round mag.
