ABSURDLY EASY online.

I received the renewal letter back in April and I kept forgetting about it. Finally got around to doing it last week with just 30 days left on my current permit.

Simply stood in front of a white wall, had someone take my picture and I cropped it. Filled out the information online and uploaded the image. Paid a total $46.13 and got an email confirmation. New permit just arrived, exactly 7 days later. I figured it'd take maybe 2 or 3 weeks if I was lucky and hoping it wouldn't take 2 or 3 months.

Pretty smooth. Can't complain.

They are doing awesome on renewals. Posted on here a few weeks ago about my renewal experience at the Tax Collector’s office. 30 minute wait. 5 minutes for the renewal part, in/out with license in hand.

Very impressive for a government agency.

Since they put a local office by my part of the world, I have done my replacement license there, when my wallet got misplaced & my last renewal there, as has my wife, & it has always been an expedient, proffesional, friendly, experience.
