Do I send the application regular mail?

At a minimum: Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation! How sad to send it first class and have it never get there ... :cry

I sent mine regular mail back in july 08 and received my license oct 31st 08 w/o a problem.

sent mine priority with delivery confirmation. you definitely want something stating they received it.

Hello and thanks again for all the replies. I sent it last week, finally!
I actually had to drive up to Gainesville to be fingerprinted a second time because they misspelled my name on the fingerprint card. Yes, I did notice it while I was still there, and they corrected it while I was still there.
The problem is that it was already transmitted incorrectly before this was discovered, and even though they corrected the CARD, it didn't match when I tried to pay it online.
They told me it would PROBABLY be OK, but probably doesn't cut it after all this effort.
Anyway, I sent it Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation, and checked it today to find it was delivered on the 27th. I'm glad I did it like that because I'm sort of compulsive and don't like wondering about something with no way to find out!
I'll give it a few days and then check the money order to see if it's been deposited...
Now begins the wait! This will be a learning experience for me because I hate waiting for anything. I really appreciate the advice available here, and to everyone else waiting we can suffer together!
