Out of curiousity what are the differences between these two guns? I like the Beretta 92 but have a CZ 75B but I don't know if there is much difference. Any experiences?

The CZ is all steel, the Beretta has an aluminum frame. Differences in the grip circumference; handling and overall size as well [ the cz is a little thinner in slide width ].

Shoot both, see which one you like. I like both, own three 92's, no CZ75B.

The CZ also has a frame mounted safety, so it does not act as a decocker like the safety oin the Beretta. The CZ can be carried cocked and locked (single action). If you want to carry in DA mode, you must manually lower the hammer on a live round in the chamber.

I prefer the CZ to the Beretta for a lot of reasons. Ergonomics being the biggest reason.

i have had both, and i now have a cz p-01, i really liked my beretta, but the cz is a more accurate weapon, I could get the job done with the beretta but it never impressed me with its accuracy. That is the only negative i can say about that gun. I have had people tell me that their beretta's were very accurate. Mine did not seem to be.

I to have a CZ75B S.S and am most accurate with it. I wish it had the decocker though. I have practiced lowering the hammer on a live round (at the range) as it says how to in the manual but just not comfortable doing it in the house. This is not my carry gun so I keep it cocked and locked at home. Never the less I love this gun. You would be surprised how many people want to shoot it when I go to the range.
