I bought this custom folder for my Dad about 10 years ago, and after he passed several weeks ago; it came to me.

I can no longer remember the name of the maker, but his mark is the letters “JE” inside a circle on the Damascus blade. The stocks are mammoth ivory, and there’s a stone set in the end of the thumb stud.

Sorry to hear about your dad.

But, man, that's a cool knife. What a great remembrance and connection to him.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. He must have known he was loved every day, as his son gave him such an exceptionally fine knife to carry. Really beautiful!

I appreciate the condolences and kind words, y’all. He was a hell of a man, and had a great life. I’ll be 70 in January, and he'd have been 92. I know how very fortunate I was to have him in my life for so long.
