Excellent addition to a self defense firearm.
A word though about use. DON'T JERK THE TRIGGER............
I've seen many folk that as soon as they start using a laser sight think that simply slapping the trigger is going to put the bullet to the point of aim and this isn't so. You need to continue to practice proper trigger control to get that bullet to hit where the laser is aimed.

I can't use them...I'm left handed, and my thumbs always block the beam. :doh

I love my CTC Laser grips. CTC also puts out a pretty neat instructional DVD called - The Art of Survival: Real-World Laser Tactics
After you watch this DVD you will want to put laser grips on all of your handguns!
My wife likes the CTC laser grips as well!
They are safer, when used properly - and there is also the intimidation factor.
