i believe bob may be alluding to how one would demonstrate safe gun handling skills and basic proficiency at a non-shooting location...
My wife did her class at a friend's home with a small group...about 4 hours from an NRA instructor. The shooting and proficiency took place the following weekend at a local range. It was very convenient and personalized in that type of living room setting.

I just created a new "Professional Services" forum, I thought we had one already but I guess I forgot to add it.

I just think it's nice to give work to a fellow forum member if possible before calling a random person or business.

Thanks for posting your references. That's much better. A class brief description is really useful too.

Everyone, please take a moment and read the rules of the site.... especially:
Do not make negative comments in other people’s threads. Repeat offenders will be temporarily banned and then permanently banned. It gets really old reminding the same users over and over to keep their comments to themselves. Everyone is allowed to ask whatever price they want for their items and it is their problem if no one wants it for that price. Also, do not hijack people's listings. If the post starter is actively participating in the conversation in their own listing that is fine. If you have activity that is unwanted in your listing please contact a moderator to clean it up for you. (Posting a factual problem with the ad is fine and not considered a negative comment, an example is someone listing a Glock for sale but they have a picture of a Sig)

Certs are good, how about where they were awarded from on these?

I'd prefer to know who trained you. Certs are good, but don't tell the tale of who exactly certified you in them? Not all training is equal. Got any nationally recognized trainers for them certs?

Brownie scared him away. The OP has not been back on the site since his last post, over 2 months ago!
Brownie didn't scare anyone away, he was asked for specific cert origins and hasn't bothered to respond.

Reason? Who knows.

We should be used by now as it has become fashion...people come, offer a "service" and don't even bother to follow up.

That's the only way I do mine
I would not be an aggressive marketer but if you list it most will want feedback and he had not stated anything avail. beyond CCW classes and if he was affiliated with a local range, had any type of defensive pistol/carbine/shotgun training. But some folks are like that when they first start out building clientele etc..............CCW classes are a dime a dozen but the ones who offer range and basic pistol/rifle/shotgun are very few.
