Can I get a new license issued with a new picture? I look like a serial killer on mine, looking at this picture I"m surprised they issued me the license at all lol
I know my DL I can just go and take a pic and get a new one, but does the CWP just.. yer stuck with it until renewal?
what if you change your look, grow or cut your hair dramatically, dramatic facial hair change, something like that?

Mine is pretty blurry actually. I'm just so : censored happy to finally have it I don't care what it looks like

Would it be condsider "brandishing" if you showed a mugger your license to scare him off? :laughing

I've had my driver's license for going on 17 years. I got it when I changed my last name when I got married. It was also before I aged and had two children. Trust me, I look better in my perky, young driver's license photo than I do now. When I'm asked for ID I show it and then offer my pathetic excuse of how "it used to be me", then I dare them to say something.

As far as your CCW photo, you did submit your own photo, right? Be happy you have a license and think about it again in 7 years.

I went through this with my permit.
My pic was all shaded in like I had a full beard. I am clean shaven. I have no idea why they shaded my clean & clear picture. But I looked like a Taliban agent in it.
After contacting to 2 different people I was issued a new permit & had it in 7 days. The pic was a ton better but still had a hint of black shaded beard. I decided that was good enough I didn't care to waste anymore time on it.

On your drivers license, the picture is taken digitally and , I believe, transferred directly to the actual Permit.

With the CCW License, you send them a passport photo (digital or conventional) and they then "DIGITIZE" it to transfer to your license.

Appears the process alters the original quite a bit. I am 62 and have blonde hair with grey thoughout. I am also fair skinned. My picture on my CCW has elongated my face, turned my hair almost white and my complexion looks like I have been chewing cordite (grey, ghostly pallor). My wife says they must have "aged" me digitally so they will know what I look like in ten or fifteen years. I asked her why, she said, "Who knows, its the government!":rolf

When has anyone said wow! that's a great picture of me on my Driver's License or Concealed Weapons License. On my license I look like I'm stoned to the mickey. There are lots of people waiting a long time for their CWL. I don't think they are going to send it back because they don't like the picture they sent in the first place. Enjoy your CWL freedom.

Most folks probably wont care. They've had to wait for the license to come in and the only time they plan on showing it is if asked by an LEO or they are buying another pistol/long gun.

one of the guys i work with just got his CWL license last week and it looks like he is a taliban also.

LOL I hear you. I've seen mug shots that looked more respectable.
