Capt Ron. I own Pensacola Dive Company. In the summer I teach SCUBA and now that it's winter I'm teaching CCW classes so that people may obtain their Florida Concealed Weapons License. I know most of you already have yours, but many of your friend do not.
We keep telling them, "You better get it before it's too late!"
They keep procrastinating for one reason or another. The hardest part about getting the license is finding time to take a firearms training course.
I'm a certified NRA instructor and I teach classes in the Pensacola area by appointment only. It's all I do 7 days a week. Experienced shooters can finish in about 3 hours and new shooters in about 5-10. We shoot hundreds of rounds with various guns. My military guys train with me just to be able to shoot so many different guns. I provide the guns, ammunition and pay for your range fees. All you need to bring is the right attitude and some cash. (Credit Cards not accepted
$150 for one person, $125 for two or more.
I believe it's youre right to carry. I also believe it your responsibility to have adequate training if you plan on carrying a gun.
I'll provide you with the Florida CWL application an notarize it for you. All you need to do is supply a color passport photo, get your fingers printed, and make out a check to the state for $117.00 License now good for 7 years.
