I don't consider Dog Tracks a 'professional sporting event', and thus, I'd carry there (and have done so). Be careful of that whole 'bar' thing, though.

One could make an argument for Jai'Alai being a 'professional sporting event', though personally, I think it's a bit of a stretch.

There's was a thread about this a while back...a quick search may yield the results you seek...I don't remember the outcome.

I'd be careful about this one. I respect RCR's opinion, but I see no reason why dog racing and Jai Alai wouldn't be considered professional sporting events, at least in some people's opinions.

agree

I too respect his opinion but I am like you steve, my luck would be that if I carried and was stopped or questioned by any leo (which is unlikely if I concealed well) I would probably get a LEO who got up on the wrong side of the bed and arrested me just because he could regardless of if the judge would later agree with the officer or not.

That's all it is, guys...an opinion.

I'll espouse my normal rule of thumb here, as well....if you have to think too much about whether or not you can carry in a particular venue...you probably shouldn't. Why take chances when you don't believe you have to?

I've made my decisions about where I will and will not carry over the last 27 years of carrying a concealed weapon in FL.

Everyone has to make their own, for their own reasons.
