Well Willy was right. Modern ammo has evolved and I’m not sure I’ve kept up. I think so but what do you think.

9mm in my Springfield compacts and subs, Speer Gold dot short bbl. 124

.45acp in the 1911 and H&K, Federal HST 230

I use that speer load or the Ranger T 147 grainers in my 9's. Also use the HST2 in the 45's along with Ranger T and Speer offerings in 230 standard velocity.

The 124 Speer is widely used by LE in the US with excellent results on the street.

Glock 17/34 - HST 124/147+P or Ranger T 127 +P+
Glock 22/35 - HST or Gold Dot 180 - I have some 165 Ranger Bonded too.
