OK I need some of that experience floating around out there. I'm looking a Baretta PX4 Storm in the high cap 9mm in the DA/SA version. I like the feel and the heft of the weapon. Done search of reviews and so far they seem to be fairly positive with only minor grips.
What I need is input from those who have shot or own this piece and what your thoughts are, how many rounds have you shot, how did the gun run for you. What did you like or not like.
I've been reading alot on this forum and I value the opinions of many so lets hear it.

Thanks..:drinks

I've seen several used in previous classes around the country. They seem to run fine. I've had the opportunity to shoot a few of them for a couple of mags as well. It's not for me, but the platform doesn't seem to suffer any reliability issues until they've got 4-500 rds through them, then they are want to puke until cleaned.

Consequently, none have been able to run all weekend in my classes, let alone a full day. That's not a big deal really, clean it at each lunch break and they've all held up to the sustained rate of fire.

Thanks Brownie,

Thoughts on the model 92F in comparison or would I be better off with another Sig like the 229.
I like both the 92fs and the Sig, both DA first shot, both highly reliable weapons.

I own three 92fs's and several Sigs, I carry the Sig occasionally, the Beretta's are put away but I wouldn't have any quams about breaking them out and going in harms way either.

Hey Senior,
Given the choice between the M9 and the SIG229, I'd take the SIG. Much more condusive to effective concealed carry, IMO.

Thanks Brownie & RCR

Hope you have a productive weekend, sorry I could not make it this time had some medical issues to clearup, but all is good now and looking forward to the possibility of joining y'all in another class coming this way. Thanks for the input.

RCR,

Yeah I really like my SIG P220 SAO, was looking at the next purchase and trying to get some background not real familiar with Beretta (retired from Navy as they were coming in).

Thanks again.
