Papas got a brand new bag.
So do I. Caleb had a discount code from Vertx, so I got the Gamut 2.0 bag.

The AR pistol is 18.5 inches folded, so it should fit fine.

Bought a couple of Columbia backpacks at the outlet store. They have a computer sleeve that takes an 11 x 14 level four plate and trauma pad.
Cool... definitely grey man packs.

So the Vertx Gamut arrived and I got it setup for work.

The back pocket with what they call their Tactigami holster. The blue one has a spare mag. Most of their tactigami is currently sold out so that’s all I got. There is a piece I want to but my knife more securely than a stray piece if Velcro that I’m currently using.

Under that backing, you can put a piece of Level IIIA body armor.

The view when zipped up. I have it set up to pull right handed but I may flip it and draw left handed.

This front pocket zips up. Just a tool pouch with nothing in it and a little spare Buck knife.

View from the top. Laptop, notebooks and files and the AR15 pistol I put together last year.

Computer power supply and various cables. I can access these without fully opening the main compartment.

One side pocket with various stuff. Power blocks and other stuff.

Last pocket with various meds that I use.

I also have a flashlight in one of the side pockets that is designed for water bottles.

It doesn’t seem too heavy around the house but we’ll see after a week.

Cool. Can’t wait for the RR on this pack as I’m looking for a second one to have set up, ready to rock.

No issues on my first day. The pack is a little over 20 pounds with the entire kit. It rides pretty well on my right shoulder.

I originally set the holster up as a right-handed draw but as I carry it; I’ve realized that would be awkward, so I’m going to flip the holster so I can draw it left handed.

The AR takes up most of the main pocket, so I don’t have much room for laptop and my notebooks but it all fits pretty well.

We’ll see how I feel about it after a full week.
