Dont have a truck gun yet but been eyeballing the lever action Puma Model 92 in 357...I love the levers and used to be pretty good with one, iron sights out to about 150yds, which is about all ya need in this swamp, Great woods or brush gun and can be carried easily without undue attention..not as threatening to law enforcement and would probably withstand alot more scrutiny than the ever fearful black rifle which is in the house..
good choise the rossi is the best kept secret there is. i bought one new in 1995 for cowboy action shoots (early model without bolt safty) to date i have put over 12,000 roundrs of 45 colt lead flat point ammo through it
.last year i had to replace the extractor .not to shabby for a gun made in brazil..:dancingbanana
