Just out of curiosity, those double mag holders, why have each mag pointing out in opposite directions? I always have my mags with rounds facing forward this way when I grab one and go to insert it into the mag well they are always orientated correctly. Seems to me carring them opposing each other will only come to confuse you under stress reloading. Am I missing something?

Hey folks, tonight I checked into the Hampton Inn in Okeechobee for a clay shoot tomorrow at OK Coral. I told the clerk that I’d be back next Friday to shoot at OSS and asked if there is a discount? She looked it up and said OSS has a 20% discount with them and she applied it to next weeks reservation. So my price for next week went from something like $236 if i recall correctly to $185.

Anyone checking in next Friday that didn't get the discount I’d suggest inquiring at check in. I believe you need to make the reservation with the hotel directly and not use a third party booking. She told me she couldn't give me the discount on tonight’s reservation because of a third party booking. I didn't book this reservation it was made for me and paid by someone else so I didn't care. Next weeks reservation was booked by me and directly with the hotel. I got burned last time with some crazy “service charge” last time I did a third part booking and I’ll NEVER. do that again. Always book directly with the hotel. MHO. YMMV

Are you bringing a backup in case of main gun failure?
For those who are only bringing one what are you bringing?

🤣 really one gun????? Who is bringing just one gun to this class? Yeah I’ve got several Glocks packed. No worries there.

As a side note: One of the first classes I attended I bought my brand new Glock 34 Gen3. It failed miserably during the class. Countless fail to feed issues and even after having the gun disassembled and cleaned no joy. I finally put it up and finished the class with my G17 without a hiccup. I sent the 34 back to Glock and they gutted it and replaced everything internally and sent it back. It has since failed to ever have an issue many thousand of rounds later. So yeah, always bring more then one gun for a class as you never know.
