Every day they have a news column which portrays silly, inane or outrageous tidbits from around the world, the below item shows the idiocy of disarming the law abiding people when taken to the extreme:

" A man was arrested over the weekend for walking the streets of Scotland with .... a POTATO PEELER.
Scott Walker, 39, was busted in Dunfermile as the United Kingdom cracks down on anyone with sharp objects or other potential weapons.
Walkers barrister said his client is not violent but suffers from significant learning difficulties."

Imagine that, now carrying a potato peeler is a crime in the UK. What a wonderful example of freedom the Brits show their people and what the future will be for us if the DEMS/LIBS take control of our country......

This is why canes, flashlights, and kubatons, are some of my favorite weapons. Learn the sticks. Quick, effective, and pretty much legal in every country, on every continent.

My carry weapon in the UK and California. City Stick, unbreakable, great for bayonet strikes.

Shorten grip, slide the hand down 9" or so. Slash front of the shin, think of hits in soccer with no shin guard! Anywere that you can hit, without a loss of your cane. Velocity is your friend.

Do they consider a mandolin slicer an automatic weapon or just the equivalent of an extended magazine? :dunno

And what's the law on a Gallagher "Sledge-O-Matic?"
