Yeah I guess they want everything handed to them. I know what happens when you post your favorite spots in a forum with thousands people. The next time they have a sale it’s sold out when you get there
I have not found that to be the case.

Ok post em up
Dude... you've got 30 posts here total. We've ALL regularly posted bargains and in-stock notices. Our posts aren't hard to find.

I got my last batch of 9-mm at TargetSportsUSA. Was 30 cents / round. There are no bargains out there right now. Prices are still 50% over normal / pre-panic prices. But, I needed the ammo.

9-mm prices continue to creep down. I'm seeing "good stuff" (brass cased from reputable manufacturers) at 27 - 28 cents per round now. I was 30 cents a couple weeks back.

Keep on going!

ANYHOO.... 6.5 Creedmoor is down to $2.15 / round at Cabela's (limit 5 boxes). It's been at $2.50 / rd for a while, and it remains there at most other retailers.
So... $2.15 is encouraging. But, I'm used to $1.20 - $1.30 / rd for the good match grade stuff. I'm going to continue sitting tight.
Welp.... Here we are almost a year since I made these comments (10-1/2 months) and 6.5 CM is hovering around the same price, a bit lower... as low as $1.70 / round from lesser known online retailers. With bigger / better known retailers it's about $2 / round.

I guess I'll still be waiting. BTW, the above prices are for Hornady ELD-M 140-gr (match grade) ammo.

And another jump DOWN in prices! $259 for a case of good stuff. It's been a slow decline. But it's predictable because of the laws of Economics... good ol' supply & demand.

I paid $299 for a case back in November.

I paid $320 for a case last June.

I've still got 8-9 cases of 9mm that cost me 160.00 per 1K rds. It's unlikely I ever have to buy ammo again with the exception of 44mag.
If I didn't shoot anymore, it would be unlikely I would ever have to buy ammo again, too.

Similarly, I will never ever have to buy ski gear again. Or scuba gear. I'm "set for life" with scuba gear!

Alas... I went through over 6 cases of 9mm last year.

But I haven't skied for 30 years and haven't dived for 20 years. I think, for fun, I'll go on a scuba forum and tell them what I paid for my gear 30 years ago.

I wouldn't sell that scuba gear just yet.
You know that Glock will shoot underwater... :)
I actually gave it away at a garage sale. Literally... gave it (for free) to a neighbor... under ONE condition: He had to promise to get it serviced before using it.

And when ammo gets to 160.00 a case again for 9mm, let us know. :ROFLMAO:
I predict it will drop below $200 / case for the good stuff. It may take a while. But we'll get there.

I bet the lower end ammo - which I don't buy or use - could get down to $160 (16 cents / rd) again.

Supply and demand. Supply and demand.

Lets hope so the sake of those who couldn't or wouldn't spend the money to stack it long, deep and continuous.
Just curious... did you stack HP ammo deep, as well? How did you approach your inventory for defensive vs range ammo?

I like S&B ammo a lot for range practice. I especially like how compact their boxes are, don't take up a ton of space in the ammo cans or range bags
But, I find picking the cartridges out of the box to be tedious.... very little room between cartridges.

I save the boxes and repackage the stuff in the giant boxes...
