At what point does one progress from "Junior Member" to "Member" ? .... is it based on how long you've been here?... frequency of posts ? ... secret handshake?

From what I remember you are a junior member until you hit 50 posts...or is it 100? and then you are a senior member, I think.

It's been a few weeks. I had to really dig in my heels to get my signing package but I finally won out in the end. I got a few thousands rounds of ammo and a case of chocolate chips.

Ok, truth be told the Admin asked me if I would be a moderator for the ladies section in hopes that one day that would become a more active part of our forum. Further truth is that the Admin and Moderators don't need me. They are a well oiled machine that do a fantastic job. I've been privy to see some behind the scenes work and I can testify that they take great care in how they handle any issues that need their attention.

I'm basically arm candy at this point. They have graciously allowed me into their inner circle and let me observe in an effort to learn how to moderate. I also think the appearance of having a female moderator will hopefully encourage other women to join and stay and become regular posters.

You are safe deadeye. If I'm ever talking to you it is because I'm plain MamaBear just like I've always been and not moderator.

I think that was an excellent decision by Admin in both the concept and choice of Moderator. Political correctness aside, women have their own set of carry issues,and questions. You'll rock. :clap
