When I went to get new glasses I found out that I have been shooting right handed for 50 years and I'm left eye domminent . I'm right handed and after 50 years I don't think there is anything I should change ,but I can be wrong .I got the safety bi-fold deniarl glasses that Racer recomended and the magnifyer part seems to be a game changer although I have not tried it at the range yet. If there is something that I should change I'm up for it .Getting old sucks .

I got to the range yesterday with two missions one was to see if my mom could shoot her favorite S&W 36 J-Frame after the Apex duty/carry kit was installed (arthritus stoped her from being able to pull trigger at almost 80) that was a sucess . Then Murphy's law struck with 5 shots she shot down the target holders in 2 lanes an became so embarssed she left the range .I had 2 sets of glasses to test the new perscription glasses worked great I should have got them much sooner . Next week I'll do a much better test I did not want to leave her out in my truck it was 85 out there and she did not start the truck and turn on the AC. like I told her I have a feeling hell will freeze over before her next range trip . So next week Bifocal denial glasses "SSP" safety glasses.

The gun I got for my mom was made in 1980 model 36 airweight with a coil spring set up ,The difference was big she could not pull the trigger before . The Duty/Carry kit from Apex will help a lot and can be put back to stock without damage ,I asked for the old parts back . If you get any lite strikes you could just buy a new hammer , I don't think that is going to happen , with the new parts the trigger is smooth as silk and at least 4 pounds liter . This is the third time I have used an Apex trigger kit and I have been happy every time ,the Target/Match kit I put in my S&W M&P was great 2 1/2lbs every time and smooth .If you reload you could use fed primers on 38's they are the softest , best of luck you can't go wrong .
