I'm pretty good on my calibers, how about you?

My trusted ammo sources; Ammoman, Palmetto State Armory, Natchez Shooting & Outdoors and recently Bereli Inc.

So, panic not, but invest in brass, lead and aluminum.

Food supplies? If it gets that bad in the US where it's unavailable from normal sources, there's always the chance of taking from someone else less ready to defend their supplies. Been this way down through the ages, so it's nothing new in that regard.

Who will survive an apocalypse if it ever happens in the US? I'm not sure, but one thing I do know is that those who've taken their survival lightly in H2h and weapons proficiency, are ill prepared in survival skills, medical skills [ with the accompanying equipment ] and don't have a support network set up of like minded people are going to be the first vics.

National or local disaster here, I'll be making to a 12 acre location where 30 or so others will "make camp", including armed perimeter patrols. Stores of medical supplies, food, water, multiple large shelters, etc have all been acquired in advance of such a societal problem.

Now, lets get back to reality instead of the worst case scenario advancements. The world doesn't end because you don't have brass, lead, and aluminum.

Not as much as most might suspect. It's just 129 cases. I just went out to the storage area. One 7 foot long row of cases stacked 2 deep x 4 feet high shows 38K in cases and ammo cans. One mortor can has 8K rds of 223 in it. Impossible to lift without a dolly [ at roughly 70#' per 1K makes it about 560#'s in one mil can vs 8 cases taking up all that room.

For 223... I think it's about 30 lbs / 1k. But you still aren't lifting it or moving it without help at 8k.

Watching the stock market at the moment, apparently trading has not been halted. All 3 of the major indexes are fluctuating upwards between a quarter point and 9/10's of a point [ a point is 1% ].

Unless you meant bank stocks were halted. I'm not seeing that mentioned on Bloomberg at the moment.

Just announced that 20 banks trading was halted on the stop loss system. A run on the banks stocks [ panic selling ] had to be halted before there was a major bloodbath that took other banks down due to panic selling.

You read correctly sir. And like you, I didn't see what 20 banks were halted on trading

Only reason crime is said to be down is because they do not prosecute what they call the small non-violent crimes anymore at all. Why do you think WALMART is shutting down 269 stores across the nation?
When the Mayor of San Francisco tells people not to visit the city anymore because we can not protect them, It sure does not mean crime is down. It just means they do not arrest people for committing them.

What I think the thing they need to be saying is"REPORTED CRIME IS DOWN /PROSECUTED CRIME IS DOWN. and not "ALL" CRIME IS DOWN.
