Thought I'd add my timeline to the CCW waiting list, although I know there are plenty here.

*Mailed everything (including electronic fingerprints) 10/27
*Check cashed 11/19
*First call, not in system yet 12/21
*Second call, in system still processing 02/02 (see below)

Waited fifteen minutes for an actual ring instead of busy signal, and twenty minutes before I actually got through.

They must be swamped... anyone in the same time frame as me must be patient. If you find out just how to be patient, please tell me how!

98 days is a long time to wait. I would call again and speak to a supervisor. Chances are that your license has been issued or very close.

The State must issue your license in 90 days or, they need to tell you why you were denied This is from the time they received your application.

I agree with steve66. I would ask for a supervisor and find out what is holding it up. And I would also ask why they did not issue my permit with in the 90 day time limit. As much as possible we need to hold them to the law.

We have to pay our taxes by a certain date, so we also need to hold them to the law. :thumsup

Chocolate does wonders. Since you can't do anything else but wait and dig trenches to the mail box you may as well eat chocolate. Works for me.

What I did find amazing is after my 110 day wait it all went out the door as I was staring at my license. It's like labor pains - when you see your baby you forget what all you went through.

If none of this works then man-up and quit your whining.
