The thing that initially struck me about TF shooting is it removed one other thing you needed to think about or focus on. Instead of thinking is my sight lined up? Am I aiming right? You just do it. Draw the gun point and shoot. If it comes to a point where I need a gun I figure I’ll have enough to think about already without having to ‘think’ about where I’m aiming.
Thread reminds me of Jelly Bryce an Oklahoma police officer who studied F/S techniques very much and put them to use in several gunfights. He came out of every one and many bad guys didn’t. He got so popular in the LEO sphere that the FBI got wind, recruited him and put him in charge of training new agents how to survive. Lots of good reads on him.
