Anyone have any feedback on the .22LR conversions for pistols or rifles?

Ceiner and Advantage have some nice kits......

Ceiner makes them for rifles too!

I have an Advantage Arms conversion for a glock 17.

Runs great on Remington, Blazer ammo but will NOT run on Federal ammo.

I don't use it as much as I thought I would, but I may in the future if ammo costs are raised significantly by a tax as has been proposed might happen after the first of the year.

I researched them extensively on the forums and net for peoples opinions and more people thought the AA conversion was better than the Ceiner.

I have a Ciener .22 converter and a Black Dog magazine, and they are great.

When I go to the range, I'll fire a 3 shot groups with a 20 round magazine. I just like to feel the shot and recoil!! :D

Then I put in the Ciener and Black Dog, loaded with .22, and fire all afternoon for pennies of what it would cost shooting .223.

I have heard that it is better to buy it through Cheap as Dirt, Midway, etc., rather than buying it from Ciener. It was explained to me that some have had a hard time getting the adapter from Ciener once they get your check. That larger orders have a higher priority of getting filled and shipped than your single order.

This is just what I have been told, I have no personal experience, so this would just be an FYI.
