Can anyone recommend a good quality Gas Blowback 1911 Pistol? I am interested in one for practicing skills when I can't go to the range.

Hate to hijack the thread, but I shoot a Springfield Armory XDm. I haven't seen any Airsoft or other brand gun that mimics it, or even the Springfield XD line.

See a lot of Glock models but I'm not familiar enough with Glocks to know a model that might be close to the SA in size and heft.

Bottom line is I'm not sure what to do. Should I just try any old Airsoft, or try to find one that is similar to my XDm? I don't have an EDC, yet, since my permit is probably still at least 6 weeks away (just passed the 7 week mark). If I should try to match my gun, any ideas which Glocks are similar in size/wt to the XDm? Where can I look up sizes to compare Glocks and mine?
