Well, its been a longgg wait, but today was the day, my license was in the mail. Thought I was seeing things when I saw that infamous DoA envelope.
The rejected prints (ink) was the big problem, and not finding out till over 100 days into the wait. So I hope everyone calls the DoA before 90 days to make sure app. is ok and no problems, you may catch it weeks before they would notify you.
Here's my timeline.
Ink Prints, certified bank check.
App. mailed 11-10-08
DoA Recieved 11-12-08
Not sure when check cashed
2-13-09..Called DoA and found out my prints were rejected.
2-20-09..Got new print card, and sent redone prints.
4-16-09.. Issued
4-24-09..License in mail.
165 days, mailbox to mailbox.

So, I be a happy camper today :dancingbanana

Yes, it was worth it for sure. Learned I could make up new cuss words that would make the Osbourne's blush. Of course, all directed towards the DoA, and their very efficient ways of processing applications. :rolf :smack

But now you have it and don't have to go through this again for 7 more years. You will have recovered by then.

That's why I run electronic prints , you know right away if they are OK . And always go with a passport photo and it will be OK .

FYI- Mine were electronic and still failed- said thet were unreadable- second time sheriffs office gave a letter stating that it was second attempt and best they could get- they also said DOA can only delay license one time for prints, then are reqired to use what they have between two sets.

well,still gives us hope..at least they are still sending em out..they cashed my wifes check april 9th..she did ink on the prints...hopefully government continues to throw spit balls at each other all the while the entire state of fl becomes well protected....rather have you guys on our six instead of waiting on 911 OPERATOR to finish a call with a lady about her shrimp fried rice....amazing...congrats t-bone !!!!
