Anecdotally I had heard that there was only one fully transferable 1911 machine gun. It was made and registered before May of '86, but it didn't work. At some point someone bought it, and had someone who knew what they were doing rework the mechanism in a way that functions. If that anecdotal report was accurate that video may be the one and only one of its kind.

Full auto Glocks are plentiful, but there are zero fully transferable ones. None were made and registered prior to May of 1986 so the are all "post-samples".

Good thing they weren't shooting at OSS - that one dude would have definitely put most of 'em over the berm.

Yep, exactly. If you have the proper FFL & SOT you can make a full-auto GLOCK, even.

And I suppose any other full-auto, right?

Yep. But if you ever wondered how fast a 1911 could shoot there it is.

'Totally pointless weapon'? I beg to differ! Three guys come at you, you pull your fully auto carry 1911, do a full mag dump (no choice) into the middle BG, the other BGs look at the resulting hamburger, throw their wallets at you and run away screaming!

The late un-lamented Star built select fire pistols that looked like 1911s.

Full auto with a 7 round magazine? Someone has too much time on his hands.
