Not really worthy of fighting for yet, so what if a few legal gun owners are given a hard time or temporarily lose their rights, it's for everyone's own good.

    Tastes pretty good.
Story of the frog in to pot of warm water slowly coming to a boil applies here.
Impeachment hearings are simply democrat campaign ads, paid for by taxpayers, to convict Trump in the court of public opinion.

Hmm... you are correct. In my examples, possession would be the crime, not the firearm itself.

    So..

Illegal firearm: Any firearm, either Title I or Title II produced after 1968 that does not have a serial number applied IAW GCA' 68

    AND

Any Title II firearm not properly registered with the BATFE on a Form 1, Form 2, or Form 4.

...so what if a few legal gun owners are given a hard time or temporarily lose their rights...
How the hell are a "few legal gun owners" going to be given a hard time or temporarily lose their rights? This is a bill about something that is ALREADY illegal, altering only the fact that (if passed) an arrest can be made based on RS.

Maybe you mean people who legally own a firearm but don't give a rat's patoot that their teenager is running around the house waving it in a video? I wouldn't need a law to give people that stupid a hard time.
