    Ammo prices

    Friends

Help me out here.HST is still available most places.Even target sports shows 39.99 per 50! They have sales and .45 is maybe 25 bucks a box, same with .40.

Bone frog has great prices, .45 and .40 but 9mm is higher and demands LEO credentials.

On my last order I asked for an explanation and no response.

    Anyone have an answer?

Side note, Norma has a new monolithic 9mm defense round that’s very impressive.

Hmmm... I've got a bunch of HST that I bought years ago. I recall paying about $25 for a box of 50.... either 9-mm or .40... I forget.

Just checked my inventory... about 1400 rounds of HST in 9-mm, .40, .45-ACP, and .38-SPL.

Don't have nearly as much HST as racer but what I do have cost me about the same, $25/box of 50 for 147 gr 9mm.

Mine too, either 147 gr 9mm or 230 gr .45 ACP. Great stuff that's a proven performer on the street. Backup is Winchester Ranger-T, another great performer out on the street.

I carry either the Wilson Combat custom ammo, or the ASYM by Stan Chen. Both have very low flash signature. Pricey though

Great minds, pig. I carry Asym too in .45. Great ammo.

I’m just wondering what’s up with the significant increase and the inconsistent LEO only purchasing.

TargetSports seems to run specials on HST at least twice a year where can pick up boxes of 50 at the prices mentioned. I have about 350 rounds of 180 grain HST for 40. Please tell me this is not about to go away. I want to pick up a bit more because I want to be able to shoot what I carry at least a few times a year.
