Oh my gawd! No doubt he feels bolstered by the theory that his money is what turned both houses Virginia Blue, whether that's true or not and possibly more a matter of complacent conservatives not showing up to the polls to vote. We shall see.

    BEERHUNTER,
    You are soooooo correct,
The people on a system and not working have all day to get out and vote.
The actual working TAX PAYING AMERICANS just don't take the time off to go vote.
I'm 76 and I remember a time in Delaware where the businesses and schools all closed on ELECTION DAYS so everyone had a time to go to the polls and VOTE. ( That was a very long and I mean long time ago)
I guess those times are gone forever.
Then it seems that well after the votes are counted they always find a skillion bags of mail in or uncounted votes that seem to disappear AGAIN.

Bloomberg has no national appeal; it's like Soros - no one actually likes them, but they are willing to take their free money. So they can have influence, but they can't win on a ballot because everything they do is about control over someone else. To some extent, that's why Hillary isn't electable.

Bloomberg was a Democrat who ran as a Republican for the Mayor of NYC, then turned back into a Democrat after he left office. He has also been an Independent.
He's an opportunist with no values other than a megalomania to deny Americans their rights because he knows better than you what your rights should be.

He is going to play the white knight centrist card, rescuing the Democrats from a far left socialist or a senile old gaff machine.

shame he is no longer who he once was.

he actually is thought of having been a "good" mayor for NYC (and not just by the NYT). Some good things happen during his administration. Shame he changed since then.

Bloomberg chose to apply a statistical, results-based approach to city management, appointing city commissioners based on their expertise and granting them wide autonomy in their decision-making.
At the end of Bloomberg's three terms, the New York Times said "New York is once again a thriving, appealing city where ... the crime rate is down, the transportation system is more efficient, the environment is cleaner."

    Ronnie,you are correct.
Most other countries vote on weekends so people can do it easily.
If one wants people to vote,"one" makes it easy for them to do so.

As the resident Liberal,I should like Bloomy BUT.......while his abilities are great he has rich man's disease (thinks he is a God).
This disease is currently on display elsewhere.

AND...then there is the issue of firearms.
