They stole his FIRST gun. They didn't know he had a backup! Whoops!

Did I read correctly that the clerk chased the robbers down West Sunrise BLVD and shot one of them there, or did one of them die in the gas station? The OP article wasn't very clear.

They were in the process of leaving and I don't think the clerk can shoot at that point.

It's not illegal to chase someone that took something from you!!! If they start shooting at you or point said gun at you, well, what do you do while chasing them down?

Is it advisable to go chasing someone that just robbed you at gunpoint knowing full well they are armed, NOPE! But this guy did and well lucky for him, he's the one still here!

I am not saying a prayer for the thug life lost!

That clerk just may have save a person or two or three lives in any future holdup the thugs would do if not stopped.
I hope they give this guy a medal.

Good for him! Might be time to think about securing the clerk's area with bullet proof glass!

I remember back in the 90’s most convenience/fuel stores had the clerks behind that glass with only a small hole to hand your cash through it.

I wonder if he'll be fired twice for having two guns?

    Not much on that article.
