Seems Washington's new law only applies to "rifles" and uses the standard ATF definition - fired from the shoulder.

Does Washington's new law NOT affect AR-15 variant pistols or are they already restricted is some other way. Seems like a major "loophole."

Just asking out of curiosity. I'm too lazy to research it and just wondered if someone already knew the answer.
There are only 3 colors, 10 digits, and 7 notes; it's how we arrange them that is important.

Seems to be a pseudo-registration system.

There’ll be a record of those who completed the safety course, so the gubmint will know where to look when they impose a ban.

Certainly seems the data could be misused that way, particularly since the training has to be completed every five years. However, the law only applies to the purchase of new semiautomatic rifles.

OK, I think I understand now...

    AR-15 rifle = dangerous
AR-15 pistol - not so much.

It really is all about the "shoulder thing that goes up."
