    Surprisingly clean- S&B ammo

I just got around to cleaning a couple of pistols my son and I shot during the last threat focused class. Before the class, I purchased 2000 rounds of Sellier and Bellot 9mm ball ammo. We probably shot 900 rounds at the class. I was quite surprised, and very pleased, to see how little gunpowder residue there was when I cleaned the guns. As a rough estimate, I’d say the pistols were about a third to a half as dirty as they were when using a couple of other well known ammo brands (which shall remain nameless). Also, the S&B ammo proved to be quite reliable during the class. I’d never purchased S&B ammo before, but I’m a convert now. If I can find it at a reasonable price, it will be my go to practice ammo going forwards.

It’s not a surprise..... It’s my favorite and is one of the cleanest brands out there. State of the art Czech factory managed by an American. They make all their components at the factory. Zev or ZV is also very good. Gecco I think the spelling is Swiss. All three are ones I look for first

This! Not surprised at all. I've used S&B ammo a lot, never had an issue, and shoots very clean. The price is usually very competitive, too!

Yep.. The Czechs make good stuff.

They have a very long history of arms and weapons manufacturing.

Prvi Partizan (Serbian) is really good ammo too.

I've used S+B ammo since the early 90's, when they red lacquer coated the primers. Still have a case of that stuff in storage from the early 90's.

Hard to believe I've used that ammo from time to time for 25+ years.
