Looking for info on a holster/belt

I picked this up from an old timer that said he had it custom made at an expense of $400. Seems high to me but my knowledge is limited when it comes to leather work.

    1. What's it realistically worth?
    2. It's way too big for me. What do you think the cost of shortening it would be?

It had a Heritage .22 revolver in it.

Any marking on it you can post a pic of? Most custom makers will put their mark on it.

Sam Andrews makes custom western rigs that are very high quality and not inexpensive. I have a shoulder holster he made for a friend of mine that fits a H&K USP .45 with a double mag pouch holder and a Tanto knife. Really nice holster.
