I'm looking at the Panther OWB holster, mostly for carrying around the house/yard; IWB often gives me back pains. I got to thinking, as long as it's covered by a shirt, it's still legal right?
Was wearing a panther, Had an officer ask me the brand. Yes he could see the bottom section of it as I paid for items at the gas station. It was around midnight and had just gotten off a plane. Slid it onto my belt line rather easy, pulled lockbox from the luggage and holstered in the car. Officer thanked me for the info and said have a good night.
Its about how to stop worrying about printing.
Basically, nobody looks at your waistline except another carrier, its not as obvious as you think it is, and if you are casual and don't touch it constantly no one will notice.
I wear normal pants and shirts. Don't carry IWB and since I've been using the Panther OWBs, normal-size button fronts and polos conceal even my full-size FNS just fine. My cell phone prints and the gun doesn't! :grin
Since the car wreck back in April, though, I've been wearing my Kahr P9 almost exclusively...almost forget it's there...which has been a bit problematic since I OC for work, and have not removed it a few times when stopping off during my daily commute. If Iget arrested, Jim's posting my bail! :grin
So far I'm amongst the group panther iwb holsters with pants one size up. But it seems mine keep growing also!
But I use my panther owb for matches primarily. But with larger shirts I think I'd be able to pull it off which is somthing I need to try soon!
Question:
When sitting in the car for comfort do you adjust the position of the owb holster from 3 o clock to forward on the belt ( 2 o'clock?)or leave it there ?
Mine stays at about 3:30 in or out of the car. Carried that way for over 26,000 miles since last June with narry an issue. Very comfortable and concealable even with just a normal size untucked shirt in summer weather.
