    I see what you mean though, and what Brownie advised, which helps. My spider-sense tells me that such things still wouldn't go over well in the blue counties of Florida. The With Her brigade would make so many demands that the cops would just ask us all to leave just to shut them up.

    I think the trick is to have a non-carrying friend hanging around with a camera ready to start filming in case the LEOs become a problem.

    This should be the case for all LE encounters, friendly or otherwise. In most cases, it isn't a crime to record LE interactions, especially on public property. While I trust most LE, especially if forewarned, will tell any whiny SOBs to go fly a kite, I'd definitely want someone recording just in case you get the odd officer who is "still with Her" for some weird reason. Maybe the officer likes the abusive authority figure that treats his or her life as disposable...
