    Sleep soundly soldier

Picture of a soldier sleeping during an airport layover with his canine partner.

Give new meaning to "I've got your back" doesn't it?

That's one heck of a "Kodak" moment. Those of you who've known how strong the bond is between a dog and his/her human can really appreciate this picture as much as I do. Would love to know more about it.

    I miss you Jake!

That's how I saw it, a kodak moment. Miss all my great companions over the decades myself. Notable, my akita named akasha

Hope his buddies are around paying attention so MWD doesn't end up biting somebody wanting to pet him.

I'm fairly certain people were giving both a wide birth. The dog is likely trained enough to not be a problem when it's turned off as it is in that photo. See that guy with the phone using his camera? He didn't think getting any closer was a good idea either.

That's a beautiful photo... and brings sweet memories for those who had enjoyed the love of the furry friends.
