You misread my statement. My statement is: "one will be hesitant without training." I did not state training will guarantee one will not hesitate. Training and education are, however, one's best hope of not being on the wrong side of tomorrow's headline when it comes to employing firearms in defense. I do not propose, nor do I support further legislative initiatives without exhaustive debate from all segments. But I do believe that one way to draw supportive attention to the CCW community--and thereby keep legislators from meddling--is activity and actions by us that lead to public support.
