I bought this from a friend about 10 years ago for $75. I like the dimensions but its a little heavy for the amount of rounds that I would be able to carry. I did a search on this forum but nothing came up. On other forums its a popular gun. I might just sell it for money toward other guns that I want. Curious to hear any thoughts on this firearm. Thanks

Finally found a PPS last night and ordered it. Went to a local LGS this morning and made arrangements for a FFL transfer from the seller. I've been looking for this gun for quite some time and really looking forward to getting it to replace my LC9 for EDC.
Actually ordered a holster for it a couple days ago so from Panther Concealment so I'd have it when I finally found the gun. Much to my surprise, it looks like I'll actually get the gun before the holster.

The p224 in .40 cal is 10+1, but it is .2 inches wider than the p250. The grip on the 224 is slightly shorter, though. Just wondering if anyone has any carry time with p224's. I love the classic series sig pistols!

I'm looking to buy my future ball-and-chain her first handgun. I don't know much about owning either, but right now the short list is a Ruger LCP and a Taurus TCP. She's pretty small (~100 lbs and slender) with a small frame, so something that she can conceal if she wants to and something without much recoil is key.

I've read some posts about the LCP and they seem positive overall. I haven't seen a lot about the TCP. I've been calling around to see if the ranges in my area have them available for rent, but I haven't had any luck.

Does anyone have any comments or feedback on either (good and bad) that might help? There's a gun show this weekend in West Palm, so I was thinking I might get a decent deal.

Thanks.

Q - What is the expected life of a Kel-Tec firearm?
A - All Kel-Tec firearms have an expected life of 6,000 rounds or more. (Per the Kel-Tec website, under FAQ)
My new PF9 lasted about 150 of the 200 round break-in period, before it experienced numerous Failures to Extract, then the firing pin popped out. The PF9 has been back at the factory nearly 8 weeks for warranty repairs. Up it goes for sale when it comes back, along with my P3AT. I'll stick with my XD-S .45 for EDC. I've seen stress testing on the XD pistols that well exceeded 100,000 rounds. My Kahr pistols both have excellent quality as well, but are somewhat ammo brand finicky. Kel-Tec does serve a unique niche for making some of the smallest guns in their caliber, but I'm tired of keeping "disposa-guns" in my safe.

I finally received my FCWL a couple weeks ago. Read Gutmacher's book and in numerous chapters he talks about the use of non-deadly force for misdemeanors and non-violent felonies.

Who here carrys such weapons? If so, how do you carry them? I'm basically out of pockets. ie: knife, cellphone, wallet, back up .32 pistol. Do you carry on or belt? I believe pepper spray, taser, or stun gun would be cumbersome in a pocket.

Or during a misdemeanor or non-violent felony would you just try to retreat/not get involved.
