Another thing he said they were told was that a gun had to be in plain view in a vehicle,the opposite of the law.

I called BS but he said this "guy" said it was new changes in the law.I tried finding it but my search skills do suck.

This article actually admits that they do not expect criminals to hand in their firearms, yet they still demand that their law abiding citizens do so, which basically makes them unarmed victims.

They also admit that even though they banned firearms, crimes still happen, but now knives are the most prevalent weapons used in them.

So in essence, even if a criminal doesn't have a firearm, they will use whatever weapon they can find to do so, only now the law abiding citizens have been disarmed, by law, which just makes them an easier target to attack.
